Dear Folks, Why is it that you just never seem to get the opportunity to witness to your friends and family? You see them during the holidays or at get togethers. You’re with them at your kid’s or grandkid’s school and sporting events. You interact with them socially or at work. You pray for them and ask the Lord to make them open––at least to listen to what you want to share with them. You long for the opportunity to speak with them about eternal things––about life after death; about heaven, hell and the judgment to come but the time and opportunity are just never right. You’ve thought about giving them a tract but you can’t seem to decide on the right one. And you worry that it won’t be enough. You’re scared you’ll frighten them off too. And the last thing you want to do is alienate them. But what if there was a way to reach these folks––in a non-threatening way? What if you could give them the Gospel without fear of offending them or their religion? Now there is… I’ve written a book that will help you to reach these folks with the Gospel. Actually, it’s more like a “feature length” tract. And it really hits the spot. It says everything you long to say to them if you had the time and opportunity to do so. It’s titled: “How I Lost My Fear of Death and How You Can Too” It’s different because it’s a unique and universal soul-winning tool that you can give to anybody––of any religion––without fear of insulting them. It’s written in a conversational and nonthreatening tone that will engage them right away; carefully explaining that they have a problem and that there is a solution. Dying is a scary prospect for those who aren’t assured of what will happen to them after they die. These folks are in bondage to this fear. They live every day like a condemned prisoner. Their hope is that by having faith in God (or gods), keeping certain laws, and observing certain religious rituals, they’ll gain life after death or nirvana/peace. The problem is that every religion, without exception, is great at prescribing things for them to DO but never tells them when they’ve DONE enough. How I Lost My Fear of Death and How You Can Too presents the solution to their problem in an informative and interesting way. First, all the major world religions are spread out on the table. One of the problems in approaching a subject like this is that it can get pretty confusing and really boring in a hurry. How I Lost My Fear of Death makes this seemingly complex analysis simple by cutting to the chase. It focuses––and then only briefly––on what each major world religion says about what they must DO in order to obtain life. All other detailed theological beliefs are omitted. It’s all here: Christian Religions: Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Protestantism, Jehovah’s Witnessism, Mormonism and Christian Science. Non-Christian Religions: Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Buddhism. Even alternate beliefs like Atheism, Humanism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Shintoism are also touched on. Then what the Bible says about life after death is examined. Your friend or family member is then gently carried through to what the Bible says about what Christ has already DONE for them. How he became flesh to “…deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:15 And finally an invitation to receive Christ is clearly presented. What must they DO to inherit eternal life? “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” Acts 16:31 This book also answers their question as to WHY our “Relationship Religion” is better than anything else out there. In short, “How I Lost My Fear of Death” does and says exactly what you would want to say––in enough detail––if you had the time and opportunity. By the way, over 110 King James Bible verses are quoted to explain biblical truth. That’s because “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 We are asking people to make a decision for Christ that affects them for time and eternity and sometimes that requires more information than just a tract. Anyway, this book was written for people who need that more detailed information before committing their lives to Christ.
