Dear Heavenly Father, You are the Supreme Creator of all that is seen and unseen. You know everything about me. You knew me before I was even born. Since You know me so well, I need your guidance. I come to you with an open heart to let you know how I feel. I confess I have felt ashamed for the things I have done. Mostly, I have felt ashamed for the things I have not done. I have not been consistent in my relationship with You. I have not been focused. I have been distracted with meaningless behavior. I judged myself so harshly that it has caused feelings of sadness, hurt and depression. Your word says "Ask and it shall be given unto you." (Matt 7.7) I come before You in pure reverence and ask for guidance. Show me how to wake up and serve You. Show me what to say to myself when I do not want to keep going. Show me how to build my relationship with You in a consistent way. Show me how to quiet the ego. I give myself away, so that You can use me. Guide me God to know that I am OK and it is all OK. Guide me to the blessing of You. I thank You, God, for this guidance You have given me. I thank You for leading me out of the darkness and into the light. I thank You because I know that because I ask, it is given. With One Heart, One Mind and One Spirit, I surrender these words to You. I know they are so. I let it be so and so it is.
