Dear Foxtel, I feel bad about doing this in a letter today but - TopicsExpress

Dear Foxtel, I feel bad about doing this in a letter today but after 10 years together Im afraid I wish to see other entertainment providers. Its not you its me. My expectations are clearly unreasonable. After paying $170 every month I just dont find sitting through more ads than commercial television as much fun as it used to be. Actually, thinking back on I dont think it was ever fun and thats one of the reasons we hooked up originally. But over the years we seem to have gone in different directions on this and it has been really starting to take its toll on our relationship. Perhaps with therapy and counselling we could have got through that. But then I made the mistake following your suggestion of getting to know your friends Telstra 24x7 and BigPond better. Theyre good people you said. Lets hang out with them and bundle, youll save heaps you said. After six months of that saving resulting in being overcharged $200-300 dollars every Ill admit that I started to loose patience. Im sure Telstra 24x7 meant well in the hours of therapy telephone conversations we had every month attempting to rectify the situation. Unfortunately their repeated assurance that I was important to them wasnt able to stretch to actually being able to fix the problem. And so here we are. Or rather here I am and you are in two padded bags already on your way to greener pastures. I hope you find what you are looking for: someone who shares your passion for paying for ads and a billing system that make Willy Wonkas inventions seem simple to understand. PS I received your kind note about making sure I pay the outstanding overcharges as it is due before youre wonka-like machine can process my refund. Your note that failing to do so will result in being charge a $15 late fee is something I will always cherish. Adieu.
