Dear Friend, Hillary Clinton has some gall. In a highly-publicized speech last week, the former Secretary of State bemoaned the current state of American politics, particularly what she described as “pure partisanship, pure ideology” in the nation’s capital. Her cure? American politics needs to “get back to evidence-based decision-making.” Pot, kettle, Hillary. This is the same Secretary of State who, when questioned about whether the 9/11/2012 Benghazi attack was perpetrated by terrorists, famously exclaimed, “what difference, at this point, does it make?” She also deceived the public in the immediate aftermath of the Benghazi attack by blaming the attack on a YouTube video. She even lied to Charles Woods, the father of slain US Navy SEAL Ty Woods, by telling him to his face that they would find the person who made the YouTube video. Of course, there was never any credible evidence or intelligence linking the Benghazi attack to a YouTube video. Instead, Hillary seized on the existence of the video as a convenient way to deflect from her failed leadership. As Charles Woods said, when Hillary used the video excuse, “I knew that she wasn’t telling me the truth, and I think the whole world knows that now.” Hillary’s Benghazi performance is the antithesis of evidence-based decision-making. Her invocation of the YouTube video required ignoring available evidence and engaging in the willing suspension of disbelief. Hillary’s sycophants in the press may try to cover for her, but Hillary Clinton isn’t fooling anybody. Steadfast and loyal, Ron DeSantis
