Dear Friends Good or bad but the predictions came true and put guar on fire, the prices have doubled within two weeks. one other reason for this speculators lead fire is - the orders were booked on NCDEX for deliveries in September for INR 125-140 (split) range. Now is the time for seller to deliver the material and practically there was hardly any material reaching to market. That ignited and fueled the current fire. AS ALWAYS THIS IS NOT DEMAND (FROM END-USER) DRIVEN. If we want to get rid-off this speculation in GUAR - we WILL HAVE to develop guar industry outside India and I am happy that current surge in prices will boost all efforts of guar development outside India, Including mine in SD-USA. I feel the current trend will loose steam within next 7-15 days and we will see constant price for few days before it declines sharply as the new crop hits market. War on Syria is on Horizon too, the USD may go further up but that should not effect the decline in guar price much. Good Time for my farmer friend to off load seed - make and clean room for next new guest (seed)!!.
