Dear Friends, Help me spread the word about this initiative...Thank you! 2nd Offering to Mother Earth, Sydney is inviting: EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST to participate in a week long cultural celebration and offering in honor of our Earth Mother, Tonantzin, Gaia, Pachamama. Expression of interest are sought from individuals and organisations to participate in a week long cultural event and celebration from the 15 - 22 April, 2014 Conferences, workshops, round tables, videos, documentaries, plays, art exhibitions, concerts etc. on our Mother Earth are welcome. We invite individuals and organizations to put forward environmentally conscious proposals for participation. The overall objective of the event is to promote environmental awareness and the recognition of the worldview of our indigenous ancestors who have conceived the world as Mother Earth. IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: Please note that you will be responsible for all cost of your activity. We should not depend on receiving subsidies of any kind, we must do what we can count on the reality of our own resources and only to that extent. We have to learn that large companies responsible for pollution and complicit governments are not going to give resources to limit their actions involving contaminants which in some cases can reduce their profits. Therefore, all this effort can only come from the conscious actions of society, ie those directly affected like you and us. THEMES FOR PARTICIPATION: Water Air Land Energy Human interactions As for the forms of participation, they may be, to name a few: Papers Worshops, protests, arts (theater, video, concerts, exhibitions, concerts) What everyones creativity can bring forward, just, beautiful, helpful and kind.
