Puchalapalli Sundaraiah political Life Leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Lead the peasant revolt Lead the Telangana struggle Worked very hard for the social reform of the country . For the cause of social service he and his wife decided not have children. He actively participated in the Telangana armed struggle against the Nizam of Hyderabad. Participated in the Gandhis Non-Cooperation Movement.where he was arrested and was lodged to Borstal school in Nizamabad,that was the first contact with Communists. Fought against bonded labour. His mentor was Amir Hyder Khan in his initial year and he advised to join Communist party. After the arrest of Amir Hyder Khan he was asked to build the party in the south. One of the founders of the All India Kisan Sabha He was Joint secretary of All India Kisan Sabha. He was member of the Rajya sabha and Madras assembly and Andhra pradesh assembly. He was MLA till 1983.
