Dear Friends, I am pleased to inform you that both my daughter Divya and I passed Level 1 of the CFA ( Chartered Financial Analyst) Examination conducted by CFA Institute, USA in June 2013. Earlier this month, Divya also passed B.Com. (Hons.) Examination from Calcutta University securing 81% marks in Part III and 78% marks in the Hons. papers of Part II and Part III. In May 2012, she had passed the CA IPCC Examination ( CA Intermediate) in flying colours. I appeared for a professional examination after a gap of nearly 30 years since passing Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy and Company Secretaryship Examinations. By the Grace of the Almighty, both Divya and I emerged successful.
