Dear Friends, I am soooo humbled and overwhelmed with all the love and kindness you have shown to our family, especially the out poor of prayer being spoken for our Angel, Lauren. These are things that are never forgotten and that money cannot buy. You will forever have a special place in my heart. I have asked Jody if I could share his letter that he sent to our pastor to read at the prayer service at Mt Olive on Friday evening. He has always been such a joy to me and I have always been so very proud of him, but even more so, in the man he has become. Please continue to call out Laurens name when she comes to mind. Blessings to you all. ❤️ Hey everybody. First, let me say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for coming together to pray. Youll never know how much that means to me, Chas, Lauren and Madie. I love each of you with all my heart. I know many of us are trying to figure out the question why? Not that there is a doubt of what God can do, but sometimes we just dont understand. Yesterday, was beyond a doubt, the hardest day ever. I said nothing would ever top hearing it for the first time, but that was with a one year old. Trying to sit down yesterday and explain to Lauren what was going on, was the hardest thing ever in my life. Im thankful she has been brought up in our church and around our church family, because she understands the Word and knows the power in the name of Christ! She was scared and nervous, but throughout the evening and with many prayers, God continued to give her a peace you wouldnt believe!! 2 Cor 4:8-9 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; We are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken; Cast down but not destroyed Paul says trouble on every side. Meaning afflictions and opposition come even when we dont see it. Yet not distressed meaning no matter what comes our way, we alway have a confidence in victory. V. 16 For which cause we faint not. We will not lose hope no matter what. This coming from a man that had faced far more troubles than I ever will. Yes, Im hurting right now. Struggling to even write this note. My world has been shaken at the very core! BUT, my God is sovereign and HE controls all!!!!! He will strengthen us!! His power is the same today as its always been! Remember my Wednesday night lesson a couple weeks ago? God deserves our best!! When things are going good, and when things dont seem to be all that good, we will still praise Him!! Give Him our best at all times! Dont just go to our Father in prayer for Lauren tonight. PICTURE HIM, THANK HIM, SPEND SOME TIME PRAISING HIM TONIGHT. HE IS WORTHY AT ALL TIMES!!!! Again, I love all of you so much! Dont be discouraged! Be there for one another! Pray and worship as a church in one mind and one accord!
