Dear Friends. If youve been by the shop in the last couple of days, you may have noticed that our roller shutters are closed, even though the shop i open. On Monday, the motor in one of our sets of shutters gave up. We have been quoted around £400 to repair of the motor alone—however, this could be much more if additional damage was caused to the shutter/roller when it fell. Put simply, we do not have any spare money at the moment, but leaving the shutters down is simply not an option—stock, electric meters, circuit breakers and other important things are all trapped behind the shutters. Please pray that we are able to get this sorted quickly, and if anyone feels lead to donate any money to help us repair the shutters, we would be very grateful. Any amount, be it just £1, £10, or more will really help us cover this unforeseen cost. If you do not feel lead to give directly, please try to make an effort to visit the shop in the coming days. We need cash to get this job completed, and so anything you buy in store would really help us too. Indeed, if The Hub is going to continue to be viable in the long term, we need your ongoing support to use and promote the shop, as we seek to serve our community, and remain a beacon on the high streets of Walsall.
