Dear Friends, This man in this video makes sense, listen to him cut through the rhetoric to the truth! This is what Rudolf Steiner tells us in Karma of Vocation Lecture 10, November 27th 1916: Christ descended for all human beings and only through our feeling related to everyone else do we belong to the earth. The deeper understanding of the Christ derives from our connection with all human beings and from our effort to attain a full and complete connection with them. Adversarial powers thrive when we paint everyone with the same brush. They love it specially when we use generalisations to create false pictures of others in order to create polarities. It is Christ-like to see each nation as guided by a folk soul, and each individual human being as guided by their angel to a nation for the sake of their karma so that they can experience a religion and culture they need to learn from. If we really took karma seriously, would there be nationalism? Nationalism, racial bigotry and religious intolerance only thrive in a soul that believes in only one life. A soul that has a memory of past lives, that remembers being Muslim or Buddhist or Catholic or Cathar, or Hindu in a previous life will never be compelled to feel one to be more superior than the other, but that all are paths to Christ by different names. If we really knew all we were capable of, what lurks deep in the abyss of our souls, would we think ourselves so much better than others, particularly if we knew the things we had done in previous lives? The knowledge of karma is what will save the world from destroying itself before all who live on it have had a chance to learn and view the 12 aspects of Christ through one another.
