Dear Friends and Family, after 23 days long expedition on Mt. - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends and Family, after 23 days long expedition on Mt. Denali, Alaska, I am glad to be back to civilization. We had suffered from bad weather conditions (snow, wind, zero visibility, heat ), lack of sleep and altitude effects within this journey that delayed our ascent to the Summit. On day 22, we sent for thé Summit push, however we had to turn around after we reached, Denali pass at 5,636 m less than 500 m away from the Summit due to the intensifying winds and fatigue. Although it was a disappointment, I had to bow to that great mountain and forces of nature. i found out later that. Most other expeditions turned back as well. The success rate of climbing Mt. Denali is around 30% for those going for summit push. Denali was a great lesson for me. Thank you for all of you who have supported me and followed my progress. Special thanks to my wife Deema , whom I gave sleepless nights and my Coach Ronald who pushed me hard in my training for Denali. Photos will be shared in few days
