When I updated my status earlier about my friend, I have literally had TWENTY-THREE women message me about something that happened to them regarding a man being abusive in a relationship. Let me very very clear. Say something. Do something. Tell everyone you can. Do NOT be afraid that he will find out and you will get in trouble because YOU are not the one, you know, committing crimes against women, humanity, and other good men who dont have terrible morals. This post is public. You will see this. If you are being mistreated by someone, stop all contact. All of it. Block phone calls, block social media accounts, call someone you can stay with, right NOW. I will help you figure everything out. If he aint lovin the way he should, then he aint gonna. I he aint treatin you the way he should, then he aint gonna..... Or else he would.... You know? Help. Help yourself. Help your sisters who are going through the same thing. Help the girls who are afraid to speak up. Help the girls who have gotten through it already but still have nightmares about it. Im starting to see how devastating this is, but can never fully comprehend what you all feel. I am SO sorry. This does not need to happen. I take partial responsibility because I am a male. I take the rest of the responsibility because I will do my part. But if I do mine, help me too by doing yours and free yourself from the chains of guilt and giving your gift of truth to yourself and other girls out there who also need it. I love you, and you should, too.
