Dear Friends of the Terry Fox Run, The Consulate General of Canada, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, and the Canadian International School, with the support of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, are pleased to announce that the 17th Annual Terry Fox Run will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013. The Run will once again be held at the Crescent Plaza area in Phu My Hung, District 7, HCMC. The 2012 Run achieved the milestone of over 14,600 participants and raised more than VND1,700,000,000 to support cancer research in Vietnam. These numbers greatly surpassed the previous year of 12,300 people and VND1,400,000,000. With your continued support and generosity, the Terry Fox Foundation continues to make great contributions to treatment and research in our host community of Vietnam. In 2013, we hope to make an even bigger impact in the fight against cancer by again increasing the number of participants and donations. By working together we can continue to make a difference. The Terry Fox Organizing Committee would like to thank you again for your generous and enthusiastic support and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning, November 24th, for our 17th annual invitation to Run, Walk, Wheel, or Ride.
