Dear GNZTR Family Thanks to everyone for making the trek another success. It seems we got the right week for weather which is a bonus. I hope everyone got home safely and has now recovered from the week away. We did have some hiccups along the way, but I think generally the trek went smoothly and the riding was a good mix to keep everyone happy. Feedback If you do have any feedback, questions, complaints or comments, please do get in touch with me. We are always looking to improve the experience and open to your thoughts. Photos Sheryl will be producing a DVD with a selection of the weeks photos, along with her normal photo sales from her website. If you did not put your name down on the list to receive a DVD then reply to this email with your postal address, phone number and email. I will then pass on your details to Sheryl. Only paid riders are entitled to a free DVD, but if there any volunteers that would like one then get in touch and we will see what we can do. Lost Property I lost my blue Chilli Bin on the trek, if you have it could you please let me know. Bar tabs If you did not pay your bar tab on the last day could you please pay online asap so we can decide what donation can be made to the charities. The bank account is: Account name – GNZTR Account number - 38-9002-0811940-00 GNZTR Mini Trek Next GNZTR Mini trek will be held in Ngaruawahia at Lyndsay and Lynette’s place. 4th to 6th April - $140 Arrive Friday for Dinner, leave Sunday after lunch. Live band on Saturday night. More info to follow shortly. AGM The AGM will be sometime in June or July. We have to wait for the accounts to be finalised so we can hand over everything to the new committee. If you like the idea of getting involved then come along and show your support. I will update the date when I know nearer to the time. It’s been a lot of fun over the years helping make this annual trek happen. We have all made good friends with our common love for horses and we’ve ridden in places that are not accessible to the general public. Hopefully the GNZTR can carry on for many more years to come so we can stay in touch and ride the real New Zealand. Cheers to everyone who has helped over the years, John Davies GNZTR – President 021420128
