Born Again? part 1 The church world has one popular belief of what it means to be born again but are deceiving you with their doctrine. It is high time that the truth of the matter be placed in full view for those who wish to know the truth so they can be set free. Belief plus action equals faith. Faith is seen as righteousness (right doing). Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. His belief coupled with his action was stated as faith. James and Paul bear this fact out. (Rom. 4:3, Gal. 3:6, and read James 2:22-24). Without faith it is impossible to please God. (Heb. 11:6). In order to get a clear picture of what it means to be born again, we need to define some words properly. Does circumcision save you? Does water baptism save you? Yet God did institute these things for us in our scriptures. Is our Bible complete and nothing is missing in the printed words thereof? Daniel and John say it is incomplete. Will you go to hell if you are not circumcised or baptized by water? Of course not. These two things are just signs for the public to notice. The real circumcision is of the heart and the real baptism is from the Spirit of God. When you are born on this earth the first time (in the flesh), you will generally see the bloody show, then the waters issue forth, and then out you come. But the birth is the ending of a 9 month long process that starts at conception. But that is for a later discussion. I have just been pointing out the flesh birth here. But in order for us to gain passage into heaven, we must be born again of the spirit. (John 3:5-7). It is similar in operation to the flesh birth.
