Dear Heavenly Father, Your Holy Word declares that we are to stand firm and hold our ground against the flood of deceitful tactics that come from the enemy of our souls. The devil will use false prophets, so called Christian literature, TV and movies that does not line up with Your Holy Scriptures, there are even well meaning but confused people who will try to trick us into believing that Your Holy Word is just printed text on paper with no power. O God, Your Word alone has the Authority and power....all that we need to live a godly life for You, not some self-proclaimed prophet or anyone our anything that would deny the power found in believing in Your Holy Word. Help us O God to apply the solid and Holy teachings of Your Bible to our lives every day that we may be firmly planted in Christ so that we are not tossed about on the waves and carried away by every false doctrine. In the Holy and Almighty Name of Jesus we pray, Amen. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” ~ Mt.7:15-20
