“Dear Hermy, you write a lot about being inspired – in the spirit. What inspires you, as a person? Thanks Tony V.” Human stories inspire me. I honestly believe that stories hold the power to silence the mind and to open the heart, in essence: to feel before to think. In that space, insight is often born - insight inspired by the soul. The more I learn about world religions, the more I realize that the part of spirituality that makes ‘sense’ to all of us, the common denominator, are our stories. Each story contains seeds of spirituality inside it. Best of all, the more diverse the stories, the greater the learning potential. On a practical note, recently, I was listening to the dialogue between two individuals. They were trying to prove how their spiritual perspective offered the greatest benefit to humanity. Their conversation kept going in circles. After a while, I thought to myself just share one stories that inspired you about your spiritual perspective. It’s my guess that all the teachings from all the religious greats in history will probably be contained within that single story. Best of all, from an audience perspective, we will ‘get’ it with our hearts first and our minds second. That for me is the power behind stories – hence, the creation of the Credere and Share awareness program. Stories speak to the core of us, beings of potential. Peace. Love. Inspiration. Hermy x
