Dear Jim and Jodi K, Im cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year and one of my friends is bringing his girlfriend. Shes one of those healthy types who subsists on rabbit food. She said shell eat my food with one request: everything I buy has to be organic. She wants organic vegetables, organic fruit, and oh yes, an organic turkey.I dont know if youve ever bought organic food, but that crap is friggin expensive. I refuse to spend that much money for just ONE person at the party. Should I tell her she needs to chip in for the cost of this special organic food? Or should I lie to her and tell her its all organic, even if its not? Signed, Whos The Turkey Here? Never had to deal with this before, how would you handle it?
