Dear Justice Mail Friends Shaker Aamer hasn’t seen his family in over 11 years. While his children grew up in London, he was detained without charge in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. He recently asked his lawyer to pass on a message to his wife if he died without having the chance to say goodbye. But there is hope that Shaker will see his family again. David Cameron has intervened for the first time to call for Shaker’s return, and he will write to President Obama detailing how they can secure his release. Use the Amnesty link below to tell Prime Minister Cameron that it is vital he uses this opportunity to reject the idea that US domestic law is blocking Shaker’s transfer.
