Dear Kevin, Thanks to your efforts, the anti-gun politicians - TopicsExpress

Dear Kevin, Thanks to your efforts, the anti-gun politicians are running for cover! But that doesnt mean theyve given up on trying to take your liberty. In addition to delaying the vote by a week, the liberals in the House revised the bill to make it appear less anti-gun. But dont be fooled - this bill is still just as much of a threat to the Second Amendment and to our liberty as it ever was. The new bill, H.4278, still gives government officials full veto power over gun ownership. It still leaves the definition of suitability up to police chiefs. Make no mistake - H.4278 will still make law-abiding gun owners into criminals. And you think thats bad? Heres where it gets really insidious. . . The new revision of this gun bill also includes language aimed at controlling teachers and students in school! Thats right - the statists added language to the bill creating a new framework in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. What would this framework do? Regulate students emotion and behavior Force students to be culturally sensitive Observe students and teachers in the classroom to ensure their compliance Under the new bill, every school district will be forced to implement this intrusive new program. They are trying to sneak this one through without anyone noticing. The government is intent on invading our children’s privacy. First its Common Core, with its data mining and testing consortia. Now they want to regulate the emotions of school-age children? If you have had enough of this, it is time to act. The Senate will be taking up this bill very soon. Call Senate President Therese Murray now and tell her not to bring H.4278 to the floor! Sen. Therese Murray (D-Plymouth) (617) 722-1500 [email protected] Theres no time to waste. Not only is the Second Amendment at stake, now our childrens privacy is too! Pulling a bait and switch like this is a sign of desperation on the part of the statists. This legislative season, theyve already voted to continue funding for Common Core, as well as voting for even more bloated budgets that are driving us deeply into debt. Apparently that was not enough - now theyre coming for our guns and our kids! They are already running scared - the only way they will change their behavior is if you show them that youre paying attention. In Liberty, Mark Mezzina Massachusetts State Coordinator Campaign for Liberty P.S. H.4278 will use government force to regulate kids emotions, among other insidious things. Call Senate President Therese Murray now and tell her not to bring H.4278 to the floor! Sen. Therese Murray (D-Plymouth) (617) 722-1500 [email protected]
