Dear Lord, We come to you today seeking hope. Your word says in - TopicsExpress

Dear Lord, We come to you today seeking hope. Your word says in the Psalms, that you are the hope of everyone on earth . As we celebrate your birth, we are reminded in a big way, of the hope that you came to offer us through your birth, death and resurrection. Many are brought here to pray, because they are at the point of their deepest despair. Lord, please reach down and lift each one up and renew their hope in you…renew their vision of your faithfulness. May they see your hand of goodness upon them. Not everything that happens to us is good, but you are always good, Lord! May we see glimmers of hope on the horizon. May your word stir in our hearts. May we remember your hope, joy, love and peace are eternal, our trials are not. Father, we can only have this unshakable hope, by having an intimate trust and faith in you. We know that there is something more than this life, Lord. We know that we are here because you are not done with us. There is a purpose for our suffering and for us... and when we come forth from all of our trials, we will be more like you than before. Thank you Lord, for making sure we had your word to comfort us…thank you that there were mighty men and women of faith who went before us to show us how things can be done. They were human. They suffered. They cried. They grieved. They mourned. They went without. But their hope was not dimmed, because it was anchored in you, our Almighty God. May people see what we go through and see that same faith in us. May we inspire hope in others by the way we handle our trials. May we never crumble or falter, but keep pressing on to the finish line of the race before us. Lord, for every need, we ask that you would meet it. Please send down your grace and mercy like a refreshing spring shower. Lord we need you…we reaffirm our faith in you and we ask for your blessing to be upon us. We ask that you keep all evil from us and our loved ones. Thank you, Lord for what you sacrificed for us, so we can have an eternal hope and future. Blessed be your name, Lord. Amen.
