Dear Lovers & Friends, You may have noticed things have been a bit quiet on the Sack Music front so here we go, prepare to be updated. As I am sure you all know Sack Music wears many a hat and has been costantly evolving since its inception 3 years ago, entirely thanks to the avid and loyal support of our community and followers. We are now officially entering Phase 2 of the local music development plan and this means a few changes and additions which will begin to be implemented over the next 6 months or so. 1. Recording We have just finished building our very own recording and mixing studio in order to help produce and facilitate some of the great local projects we are coming across. 2. Workshops & Training We are re-launching our Workshops program including: Songwriting Demo Recording Instrument Upkeep Group Lessons Musicianship Promoting your music and more 3. Record Fair This year we will hold regular local Vinyl Record Fair in collaboration with local Record hunters and collectors (see what I did there) where you can purchase and order almost any brand spankin new wax available. 4. Sack Music Gig Van You will start to see our Sack Van pop up around and about the place bursting at the seams with live performances, instruments, accessories and gear for sale. 5. Vinyl Recording While in Germany (where i am for the next week or so) I have discovered an engineer who has designed and produced a small scale Vinyl Lathe. Long complicated story short... We will be able to cut and produce short run (minimum of 1) vinyl runs for artists and get this RECORD LIVE STRAIGHT TO VINYL! How cool is that. All this new stuff however means that we will no longer have our regular retail store open. We will however still of course be hosting gigs, running open mic, taking lessons, and we will still order and deliver any gear we stocked previously.
