Dear Members; It is pertinent to keep you posted on the event of yesterday on this forum and the outcome of my investigation. Yesterday on this forum, I shared a post made by Eziokwu Bundu where he wrote a purported statement credited to Dr Theodore Okonkwo, a House of Representatives aspirant in Idemili north and south federal constituency. As we all know, this forum is the mouth piece of APGA and every post made here gets to the target audience immediately. The post yesterday has been a subject of discussion everywhere both at govt and party level. I was reliably informed that those mentioned were seriously rattled by the post. Rtn Ifeanyi Ifeadinmesi Aniagoh, the Executive Assistant Media to Obiano has this to say; ...Due to the mention of our Mother (Osodieme Obiano) in that scandalous post, I did my job and discovered the source, originator and aim. The result is so disappointing but to cut the story short... It was done by an aspirant (name not mentioned now due to professional ethics) just to rubbish the image of another... So, for the fact that the First Lady of Anambra State is mentioned in that post, Im obliged to sort it out and VERY IMPORTANTLY, the source is so cruel and unprofessional to have included Osodieme and Sir Victor Umeh in the Campaign of Calumny. As I warned in my first reaction, those who live in glass house does not throw stone! Long Live APGA!. So it is clear from the above statement from Rtn Ifeanyi Ifeadinmesi Aniagoh that it was another aspirant contesting for the same Federal House against Dr Okonkwo who originated the allegation to tarnish the image of Dr Theodore Okonkwo. To be fair to all, this forum contacted Dr Theodore Okonkwo who made available to us this statement of disclaimer; My people, my attention is been drawn to the campaign of calumny against my person, Chief Victor Umeh and Mrs Obiano (Oso di eme). Well, it is expected this period but what strikes me most is the concoction of lies to score chip political gains. I will rather we deal with what we are going to offer to the people when elected than resorting to maligning ones name. For the avoidance of doubt, yes kidnappers visited my humble home at the wee hours of this morning but achieved nothing. My issue now is why would somebody want to link it to Umeh and Mrs Obiano?? I sure, is not contesting with or against them, so what is the connection? Ignore every other news here because they are unfounded. With psalm 35:1 and 1st Chronicle 4:10 I rest my case… However, we thank God that the attempt by some kidnappers to kidnapp this aspirant failed and will continue to fail.
