Dear Members, It is very obvious to me that many of you are thinking we will close down. I want to say that is totally false! We will remain open as long as sales continue to come in. As of today we have not made a sale since we announced that we will be expanding to games and Pogo. We have been in business for 14 years and we have done our best to adjust to whatever problem we come up with. The lack of faith and the resistance to change is really disheartening reading comments in lobbies and in forum posts. I am telling you all now we are not closing! BUT if we do not get sales to at least cover our operating expenses then it is a possibility! Sticking your head in the sand will lose you MonkeyRoyale. This weekend we will posting the room links for both Pogo and games along with NEW tournament variants and new rules for those game sites. I have talked to Yahoo and their intent is to bring back the Parlor games eventually. Personally, I think they are doing it half assed and making a huge mistake. It has caused me to take a Pro-active stance to create a new game portal that we control. I have had 4 people wanting to invest in the new venture and I have signed the contracts to start the programming. Our target date for the first of 11 games is June 1st, 2014. But we cannot do it without financial support! We will attempt partial funding on kickstarter by having a Pre-Sale of Premium Memberships. For every $20 you pledge you will receive one month Premium Membership. THIS IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MONKEYROYALE! This will be a brand new website. More details will be coming out soon. A long time ago another company was doing things half-assed and it resulted in LadderMonkey and eventually MonkeyRoyale being created and I have no doubt that I will get this gaming portal and new and exciting website up and running!
