Dear Members, It is with deep grief we have to convey passing away our very dear member, Capt Kuldip Puri. He was in London with family when due chest infection suffered cardiac arrest. End came on 11th September afternoon. I am at loss how to express this loss of valuable friend of 52 years.....Kuldip was Air Force veteran with stint in Aviation research centre and Air HQ Comn Squadron. Later in 1977 his services were transferred to Air India. Here initially as unionist became General Secretary of IPG and later rose to become General Manager in Operation Training Division. Professionally he was type rated on B707, A310 and all variants of B747 and held TRE rating. After retirement he continued to involve himself in activities of Federation of Indian Pilots as President and was also a keen Bridge player. Kuldip leaves behind very loveable family, wife Asha, children Viki, Shikha, Vini and numerous friends. In this sudden hour of grief, we at AIPWS wish him peace and strength to family and friends to bear this loss. Capt OP Sikka Secretary AIPWS
