Dear Members of the Patmos Town Council, I am posting these photos to demonstrate something we all know, that the law is not being enforced in Hora with respect to parking. Witness the sign clearly stating that parking is forbidden on the street abutting my house, and the number of vehicles parked there. While tickets are constantly being written in the Plateia tou Xanthou and it is clear of vehicles most of the time, there is absolutely no enforcement of your own law in my neighborhood. This makes the quality of life here much worse than elsewhere in Hora, as the noise and pollution are extreme. Especially now in the summer season, the noise from people parking theirs cars and bikes during the most unsocial hours is unbearable, as are the drunken singing and loud discussions which go with it. This not only degrades the life here, but it extracts a very significant penalty in terms of the value of the property. Yours respectfully Ioana Trancu
