Dear Mom: 13 years ago today at 5:19 a.m., I heard you take your last breath. Since then, no a day goes by that I dont shed a tear or crack a smile when I think of you. You memories have grown fonder with age. I remember saying for many years I will never be like my mother. I couldnt appreciate your sense of humor when I was younger and didnt know any better. Now, with great pride, I proudly say I am my mother. I feel very lucky, but I dont know how lucky my husband is. Thinking of you and loving you.
