Dear Mr. Gardner, Thank you for your January 29th response to my January 23rd email request. There appears to be confusion between the Freedom Of Information Laws (FOIL) and the Open Meetings Laws (OML), the latter being what I refer to in my previous request. Below is a link to each of the above laws for your convenience. Additionally, below is a section of the OML for your quick review. dos.ny.gov/coog/foil2.html# dos.ny.gov/coog/openmeetlaw.html §103. Open Meeting Law (e) Agency records available to the public pursuant to article six of this chapter, as well as any proposed resolution, law, rule, regulation, policy or any amendment thereto, that is scheduled to be the subject of discussion by a public body during an open meeting shall be made available, upon request therefore, to the extent practicable as determined by the agency or the department, prior to or at the meeting during which the records will be discussed. In addition to the attached list of documents I wish to be provided with prior to each monthly meeting, I continue to request to be notified prior to all Water Committee Meetings of when and where these meetings will take place. Please note that continuing to hold meetings without proper notice to the public is a violation of the OML, and a violation of the publics right to know which I fully intend to exercise. I have not requested anything through the FOIL process. And I have not requested anything be printed for me. Each item I have requested is required to be available to the public prior to or at the meetings during which the records will be discussed, and can be scanned and emailed to me at no expense to the town or to me. Many of these items should also be posted on the town web site at the same time. I look forward to receiving the attached items in advance of each monthly meeting. I also look forward to following the progress of the water capital project. Thank you again for your service to the town. Sincerely, Sharon Boisen
