JOB DESCRIPTION: •Verify and check whether the STRUCTURAL & PIPING materials received for Fabrication is of relevant Specification and grade required as per code and client’s requirement. •Monitor Fit-up inspection, checking Visual Inspection after welding as per Client’s Specification, Prepare and maintain the welder performance record to achieve good quality workmanship for the project and to achieve the company’s Quality Policy. •Verify sub con Test Packs and carry-out line walk and hydro testing as per approved procedure •Witness of Welders Qualification test (WQT), welding procedure specification (WPS), mechanical testing and approved as per code and client requirement. •Liaise with Owner and subcontractors regarding quality matters/issue. •Reviewed and signed quality document like Traceability records for weld joints and materials and all relevant documents required for Manufacturing Data Book. •Conduct Quality Audits as per project and owner requirement and prepare audit reports and to follow-up with close out of audit findings. •Reviewed and approved WPS, ITP, Work Instructions and Quality document procedure as per project requirements •Review and approve quality procedures from Sub-contractor before engaging in the job •Prepare quality documents required for tendering of job. JOB REQUIREMENTS: •Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Science · 8 to 10 Years of relevant experience in Oil & gas projects · Have good working experience all kind of steel structural materials –ASTM , API and ABS Gr A~E &AH~EH. · Have very good working experience and knowledge of below mention codes for structural steel, AWS D1.1, AWS A2.4, and piping ASMEIX, ASME VIII, ASME X, ASME B31.3, API 1104 etc. · Have good working knowledge and experience of pressure vessel as per ASME VIII Pressure vessel code. · Have good working knowledge of FAT-factory acceptance test and carry mechanical completion of skids.
