Dear Mr. Stevie Wonder It is an honor to (even hypothetically) have the chance to address you. My matter is the following: I sincerely enjoyed the effort in “We are the world” - I know that you’ve been engaged in that project - but apparently after all these years it raised more money than conscience. What I’m asking is for you to sing a song that may raise global awareness for urgent matters – I’ll trust that you know what I’m referring to. Maybe you could release it for Christmas? Oh… and it’d be nice to have a choir… Some kind of gospel choir :) Maybe a choir featuring a lot of famous musicians :) (but just a choir !!! I really hate that stuff of having a different guy singing a different line from a song. It’d be just you singing with a huge back-up of famous people from popular music... a structured choir would highlight the team effort of all the guys involved, as well as bring up the humbleness all we people must bare before the tremendous tasks we still shall endure) I bet this idea would raise tons of money for crucial causes. But… what we need is a song that may raise an endurable awareness for the causes of our just-around-the-corner future. That’s the point, really. A song for our future. Thats the challenge (...a challenge that you may not answer all by yourself, obviously) Thank you for your attention, Daniel Arezes Resende
