Funny how failure is often a blessing in disguise. My latest - TopicsExpress

Funny how failure is often a blessing in disguise. My latest relaunch as a hypnotarotist has flopped, big time. It was a relaunch that took all of my courage to out myself professionally as a tarot reader. I thought this leap of faith would be the ticket to success because I finally found a niche, something to set me apart from what everyone else was doing. Oh, I found a niche alright,a niche to die in, as author and creator of the Voyager Tarot, James Wanless eloquently put it during lunch last week. It has been a crushing defeat on several different levels because I fully expected the universe to support my ballsy move. I wallowed in the muck and mire of my dying dream for the better part of the last three months. But somewhere in the energy of the new year, meeting Mr. Wanless, and listening to lots of Wayne Dyer, like a phoenix, I am arising from my ashes. I started to see what was wrong with my approach. As my husband put it, You took tarot and hypnosis, two things that people find scary, and put them together and made them even scarier! My belly-flop made me see that my approach was all wrong, too alienating. And, my recent acceptance of the failure propelled me to look deeper into my soul, to discover again who I am and what Im about. It let me back into my inner treasure cave. I started to focus on my gifts: generosity, connectivity, teaching and communication. All of the sudden, Im full of hope and back in a creative space of the likes which I have not seen in years. I am pregnant with ideas, and I cant remember being happier! All of the sudden, that book idea is magically taking shape in an easy effortless way (Ill be in touch with you soon, Elmas Vincent). Im not sure yet how it will all unfold, but I know Im finally, finally heading down the right path. In the mean time, Cowabunga! Im enjoying surfing the mystery! For all of you struggling with your dreams, dont give up! Failure will lead you to better places. Keep the faith! :)
