Dear Mrs. Rice: Your righteous indignation is repugnant. First, the fact that you married the man AFTER he beat you to unconsciousness speaks volumes about your credibility and priorities. Nice example to set for the young women of the world who see your forgiveness as an acceptance of domestic violence. As for your husband, he may have worked his a__ off but he chose a career that places him in the public light. If he doesnt like the public scrutiny perhaps he should have chosen a career with less visibility. Of course, there are few jobs in the world where one can be paid $4 million a year to run up and down a field. There are loads of people in this country who have worked their a__es off for what amounts to a pittance in comparison and yet they live their lives as law-abiding citizens. Where is your outrage for the hundreds of thousands of Americans who didnt beat their spouse and yet find themselves unemployed? Im glad to hear that you and your husband will continue to grow...its abundantly obvious that you both have a great deal of growing up to do.
