Dear NMC, in these hard times during which overtime rates are being slashed, pay is reduced to increment OR 1%, parking charges are going up and we are having to pay more for a worse pension....I would like to thank you for the proposed increase to my annual fee which allows me to work. Unlike some I absolutely love being kicked in the teeth..after all I have thoroughly enjoyed the additional benefits that the last inflation busting hike not 2 years ago brought me! Cantons wait to see what goodies this will bring. SERIOUSLY...nurses are the people who do what they do for love of the job, love of people and love of doing good....were still human and have our own families to feed, the same ones that we neglect because we take such pride in caring for other peoples!!
