Dear Nigerian Christians, Buhari is not the Saviour. Neither is Jonathan to be compared to Jesus. The only Saviour remains Jesus Christ. This religious imagery and language we deploy before elections does us no good and will only lead to inevitable disappointment. Governing a complex country by necessity involves pragmatism and moral compromise. These men, like us, are frail limited mortals. Their motives are a mixture of good and bad at the very best. Let us remember that the most important question right now isnt who will win Nigerias election in 2015?, The question that demands our attention remains Do you know Jesus Christ as your LORD and Saviour?. That is ultimately what we must focus on first.
