Dear Parents, Family, and Friends, The PTA is asking that you mark your calendars for this Thursday, June 13th for the school budget validation vote. This vote is critical to the programming at our schools and for our children. Over the past year the school budget has been reduced drastically and as parents and community members we need to express our opinion. The school department has been upfront about what reductions would occur next if the budget were to fail. Those reductions may include school nurses, librarians, and all athletics at the 7th grade and freshman level. Please pass along this information to parents, friends, and neighbors. I hope that you all get an opportunity to cast your vote on Thursday. The polls will be open at the J. Richard Martin Community Center from 7 am - 8 pm.
