Dear Parents We take great pleasure in extending to you a warm welcome to the new Academic Session 2013 - 2014. We have trod on the footstep of yet another successful year. Education is much more than just academic success. Parent / teacher effort is required to help children achieve a sense of competence and balance to make them successful and confident in their lives ahead. We at Bloomfield Hall believe that in a competitive world only those who have multiple skills and a varied canvas of exposure will be the ones who eventually succeed and shine. Towards this objective, we aim to inculcate diverse skills and encourage talents in our students through healthy interactions and holistic teaching – learning process. To achieve this aim, we require your support to help make our new session an easy one for our children. Healthy attitude, positive perspectives will help them adapt to their new class room, teacher and peers smoothly. In the long run, this is a valuable learning for life in the secure environment provided at school. For the new session we request you to kindly take note of the following points: • School Timings: Reception: Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 12:00 noon Prep 1 & 2: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am – 12:20 pm Classes 1 – 8: Monday – Thursday : 8:00 am – 1:20 pm Friday:8:00 am -- 12:35 pm Note: All students ( Prep 1 – Class 8 ) should reach the school at least 5 minutes earlier, in neat & clean uniform. • Refer to the class time table while packing your child’s bag, as to avoid over weight. • All text books/note books and work books need to be clearly named and covered with talc sheet. • Please note that My English Book (Junior 3) for Class 3 will be available on Monday in school. Please send Rs 400 to get your child’s copy. • Please supervise your child’s home work on regular basis. Read and sign the diary daily.• Ensure that your child gets healthy snack for lunch. • B.E.A.R. Club membership is compulsory for all the students (Prep 2 – Class 8 ). Please make sure that your child is registered and borrows the books weekly from the B.E.A.R. Club. • To meet the teacher/Branch Head, do take an appointment with the office so the person you want to meet is available. • We solicit your co-operation with the school in instilling discipline, regularity and punctuality in our children and helping us to groom our students to be a good citizen. • Cell phones, MP3, MP4, Cameras or any other such item, are strictly not allowed as per school policy. Violating which, a fine of Rs 1000 would be charged. • Students must come to school in proper School code. Their nails must be trimmed and should have proper hair cut on regular basis. Check your child’s hair as well. • In case your ward requires a leave from the school, an application has to be submitted to the Head stating the reason. • In the end, I would like to appreciate the hard work of my entire team in making the previous year a success.
