Dear Parents and Guardians, Notice of the Parents and Friends Annual General Meeting (AGM) One of the important auxiliary bodies for The College, the Parents and Friends (P & F) does much to contribute to the life of our school community. The P & F is a constituted body which has a number of core objectives, including supporting the school in the provision of resources for our students and staff. It does so in any tangible ways, such as raising funds for building works (such as the new locker shed), providing funds for a “hardship” bursary, sponsoring student endeavours (such as the Indonesian Trip this year) and many other projects. Fundamentally, the P & F is also concerned with engaging parents and the broader school community in social, educational and altruistic activities. It seeks to ensure parents can meet casually with each other and help create a sense of connection to the school community. The College is grateful to those whose commitment to the P & F has again been so strong this year. As we look to next year, we are keen for more people to join the organisation to help further the work of the group. Nominations for President, Treasurer and general Membership will be heard and voted upon at the AGM.
