Dear Parishioners and Friends We did it again and with big success!!! The Annual South Bay Area Armenian Food Festival, as a result of dedication, hard work and faith, once again was a very big and successful event. In one and half days we served more than 1400 people, mainly non-Armenians. Our guests left with words of gratitude and compliments. Even though our festival does not have a long history, it is pleasant and encouraging to see how many of the same people come back every year. All the volunteers were tired and exhausted at the end of festival, but had feelings of satisfaction from achieving the goals and expectations gave all of us new strength. At 9:45pm all the volunteers came together and celebrated with Armenian songs and dances. As the pastor of this wonderful parish, the Armenian Food Festival is important to me not for raising funds, but because it brings people together, strengthening friendships and building new ones. I was touched by observing how our ladies, both younger and older, doing everything possible to make enough delicious Armenian food for all that attended. Our men took care of all the heavy lifting and setting up. Our younger generation felt especially proud to be Armenian and to be able to share the culture and experience with others. My appreciation and commends to: =Mrs. Sossy Makdessian - Chairperson of Parish Council and along with all of the Parish Council Members. =Members of Festival Committee: Sossy Makdessian, Raffi and Elo Charkian, Vicken and Lilian Poladian, Meline Mekhdjian, Nairy Stephanian, Theresa Bezdikian, Lilian Bezdikian, Anoosh Sardariani, Suzan Devletian, Pamela Abaci and Steve Ohanians. =Members of Ladies Society, Aghpiur Group, Social Club, Cultural Organization and ACYO. =All the volunteers from our community. =Mrs. Flora Bagdasaryan and the Yerevan Dance Group. =All our efforts and goals were supported by our generous Sponsors. God bless you all by granting you good health, happiness and spiritual joy. Vartskernit Gadar. Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions or prayer requests.
