Dear Pedestrian, Cars are made of iron, aluminum, steel, glass, - TopicsExpress

Dear Pedestrian, Cars are made of iron, aluminum, steel, glass, copper and other incredibly solid things. Your body is made of soft flesh and bones which can be easily crushed. You walk at an average speed of 5kilometres per hour, while cars can go up to over 200kilometres an hour. Have you ever collided head on with another human walking at your speed and locked foreheads? It hurts. Now picture a car, made of steel traveling at an average speed of just 80kilometres per hour. You will be thrown up so high, come down so fast, and hit the ground so hard. Your brain and intestines will paint the tarmac red. You will die! Worse, other cars will run over you repeatedly. You will not be recognized, you may never be found. As you ignore those road signs like zebra crossings, foot bridges, traffic lights and using your phone on the road, just know you are selfish. Cars have no children, no brothers, sisters or parents. They have no feelings. You have a soul and a spirit. You have people directly depending on you, investing in you for a brighter future. You have people who love you. Your death will shatter lives, and leave a permanent hole in people’s hearts. You may need to know that cars have insurance, and will be replaced weeks after they are involved in an accident. You on the other hand, will provide a meal for years for worms and those tiny little insects that rule the underground. It is a fact, that sometimes the fault is the drivers.’ They may be drunk, confused, or using phones themselves; but it is also a fact, that you are the one who will get hurt or killed. Please stay safe, avoid reckless walking or crossing on the roads. We need your taxes to build this country, and we have no way of taxing you dead.
