Senator Mitch McConnell is promising to put womens health on the line to score political points: Im proud of my record and defense of life, he said. If I was majority leader, wed already have had a vote on it in the Senate. Its long past time for us to join the ranks of most other civilized nations to protect children past 20 weeks in the womb.
