Dear Premier Wynne, I watched the Ontario leaders debate last - TopicsExpress

Dear Premier Wynne, I watched the Ontario leaders debate last night and your numerous apologies stood out for me. I know its not the first time you have apologized for your governments failures and mismanagement of the public trust but it is the first time that I have heard you say it so many times in a row, for almost every question. It therefore stood out as the most glaring aspect of the debate. A number of high ranking public officials have been fired because of these fiascoes but when does the government or its leadership pay for these gross mistakes? Do you appreciate at all how hard Ontarians work to earn the taxes they pay? Its so hurtful to hear the billions and billions of these sweat equity dollars the Ontario Liberal government have squandered away. So it amazes me that you believe an apology repeated a million times makes it all go away. It doesnt for me. You can’t apologize away all the lies and cover-up actions your predecessor committed that have resulted tax hike after tax hike and hydro rates that are sky high just because of your governments actions. I can just imagine if you were the opposition leader and you were critiquing a PC or NDP government who committed a fraction of what your government has presided over. I really don’t think you can honestly say that an apology would suffice in fixing it. You would be calling for resignations from the Premier on down. Therefore, please forgive me if I don’t feel like an apology is enough. Your government needs a time out. You need to go back to the opposition benches to relearn what is important to the people of Ontario and what a government must do to enrich the lives of its constituents and not just the pockets of its friends. On June 12th, 2014 Ontario needs to elect a new party to govern Ontario. Blake
