Dear President Vladimir Putin, Many of American people respect and admire your bravado and manliness; I personally find you a very interesting person and leader. In my opinion your personality as a presidential figure is reminiscent to our Theodor Roosevelt, A president many Americans still admire to this day. Many Americans including myself are also concerned however, about your lack of political tact in dealing with long standing European political and economic issues; such as the relationships between Russian border nation states. President Putin, please stop with all your egotistical militarily backed political maneuvers. Sending in your best invasion team to capture political or economic objectives is very wrong. You are in fact a much better man than this and have the college degrees to prove it. You are sufficiently educated to deal with this situation politically as well as economically concerning the current political situation. It is time to prove your worth to all the skeptics that have haunted you over the years. Try to think more about what is good for all of humanity not just your own nation or people. Learn that as economic partners greater Europe needs Russia just as much as Russia needs Europe. I believe God created the continent of greater Europe in such a way, deliberately on purpose, so that humanity would be forced into learning how to work with each other towards a brighter future economically; Instead of fighting over every little corner or resource of the continent. I know you care about your people very much President Putin. Your father would be very proud of your accomplishments, but I also know, your grandfather would have something very important to say to you at this moment in time. I know that while your father was away as a submariner. Your grandfather was the most inspiration to you as a child. He was a very kind and selfless man and very wise. I know it wounded you very much when he died. He would like to be a voice of inspiration to you again and urge you to remember what he taught you as a small boy. A truly great leader uses his mind and philosophies over military ability to dominate. It is time for you to show your true worth as a political leader by putting aside old rivalries and learning to work together to build a brighter future for everyone not just the Russian people but also the surrounding nations and states. You are the only one in a position to be reasonable about the situation. I know you are a very intelligent and good man that cares about the future. It is time to show the world that your thesis was legitimate and should have been respected by your peers when it was written. You are not a plagiarist as some academic circles claimed for political reasons. I know you have the academic knowledge and the wear with all to figure this economic situation out. It is time to put the manly ego driven military logic of your father aside, in order to create a better situation for the Russian people in the future. It is time for you to think about the long term future and be a true visionary and leader for your people; just as our President Roosevelt was in American history. Many Americans look up to you President Putin and wish you were our president, because you remind us of one of our great presidents that embodied a large portion of our American spirit. I for one look forward to seeing your many future accomplishments as President of the Russian people. Please do not let an angry phone conversation in the heat of the moment between you and the President of Ukraine, affect your political stature or resolve. Think about the future and remember the words of your grandfather, he was a great and kind man. Our President Obama is correct on this particular issue that it is time to let cooler heads prevail for the good of everyone. We must learn to build better partnerships economically and put old political rivalries of our ancestors aside for the benefit of future generations. Dragging up centuries old political conflicts is not helpful and unnecessary. Please listen to reason President Putin and be the man your Grandfather knew you would be someday. I have faith that you will make the right decision and stop using military actions to gain political objectives. You once had a far greater capacity for intellectually based diplomatic solutions. This is your strongest ability as a man, not militaristic abilities or your martial prowess as a soldier; but as a great economic leader and person philosophical knowledge. I hope to one day visit Russia and vacation in your country as I admire the Russian people very much. I respect the Spetsnaz and like learning from their martial prowess as soldiers. I also respect Russian ingenuity and scientific abilities. I also respect my American heritage and history and know how close Russian and American relations have been in the past. A man that I admire very much once fought for Russia, John Paul Jones, An American admiral. I respect John Paul Jones very much and know that both the Russian and American people are more like family then military rivals. In fact the entire northern hemisphere is comprised of ancestrally related peoples. Our nations are all related by blood, so please remember that the blood you spill in military conflict is your own. The world looks up to you President Putin for leadership. Please show it by finding a diplomatic solution over a military one for the benefit of all our families. Please remember that every person your soldiers kill has family and relatives across the world; I suggest you try to make amends by writing condolence letters to the families you damaged due to your actions as a political leader.
