Dear Riders, We know you are all wondering what the plan is for this weekend with the current state of the grounds/weather, so we will share with you what we know. As of right now all sports fields at the Showground, inc the main arena are closed. If we get a completely sunny dry week (a little bit of wind would help too!) then there is every chance that we can go ahead on Sunday as the arena should dry out. Realistically, if we get more rain then it’s unlikely the grounds can recover for Sunday. Unfortunately we don’t have a crystal ball so from here we wait. More rain is forecast tomorrow night and Wednesday so we need to see if this eventuates. We have scheduled to touch base with the showground on Wednesday and hope to have a firmer (if not final) decision on what we will do so that people can plan/replan their weekends accordingly. As there are events on DNSW calendar and the showground between now and end of Oct, this event would be cancelled and refunded as opposed to rescheduled. This would mean Member Championships would be November as well as the master class rebooked for November (pending Kate and Gina being available).
