Dear Roy Nergng Yi Ling, I used to think you may be the voice for the Singaporean. Thats why I like your FBs page... but now, I feel most of your posts are all from a perspective of a very angry citizen who does not have any experience in managing huge amount of money. Most of your posts are so hateful and full of complaints and no appreciation! Just to let you know (not to boast), Temasek and GIC do have their financial statements and internal control environment audited by an independent auditor (Big Four Accounting Firm). Just that these reports are not made public for very good reasons. If you have the experience and understand the process you will not keep asking for more returns for cpf, wanting to touch our reserves every now and then and accused the government of taking and used our money. There are very good reasons that why Temasek and GIC are making 6% but keep the pay out at 2.5% for cpf deposits! Can it be higher? Yes, it can. Do we need to do it now? No I dont think so? I am making an effort to explain to you. I do not think the government owe you or me such details explanations. If the government has to answer all our queries, there will be no time left to do productive work to increase our wealth. Finding the right balance is very difficult and can be subjective. I personally feel our government has done a pretty good job (not perfect)!
