Dear SOTH Nation, The weekly Bible Study readings reflect the readings that we are doing in the chapters of The Story. This weeks readings are based on the wandering of the Israelites in the wilderness before they entered into the Promised Land. Just a note about this: I believe that this is not so much a punishment as it is a boot camp of preparation for the conquest of the Promised Land. They would need a strong trust in God to be successful. Join us for a small group. It is never too late. See below for times (Sept. 23 posting.) The readings are: Monday: Numbers 10:11-12 & 11:1-35 Tuesday: Numbers 13:1-33 Wednesday: Numbers 14:1-25 Thursday: Deuteronomy 1:1-8 & 4:1-40 Friday: Deuteronomy 6:1-25 Saturday: Deuteronomy 29:2-9 & 30:11-20 Memory Verse: Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
