Dear Santa, Lots of people ask me what I want for Christmas and I tell them nothing, so I figured you and I could keep this tween ourselves. The only thing I really want is to be able to say thank you. Thank you for the life I have been given, the family I cherish and the friends that I love. Thank you for finding the “perfect someone” for my sister Sue and for giving me a whole new family too. Thank you for my animals that make me smile every day. Thank you for the freedom given to us by our troops who never hesitate to put themselves in harms way. Thank you for my health even though its, …well, …it’s complicated. Thank you for showing me how to love and protect the people I love. Thank you for making me as strong as I am that I can take the burden from others. Thank you for having given me the best parents I could ever have asked for, even though I miss them every day. I hate to ask for more, but if you can, could you please bring some peace to the world?
