Dear Scots, slightly concerned that people are voting YES to break up for the wrong reasons... This is my attempt to give you 10 very small but fundamental facts, its in my opinion that the only people to benefit from the breakup would be England... 1. Oil doesnt last forever 2. Overfishing due to lack of regulation will ruin the fishing industry. 3. There is no way fiscally that Scotland can keep the NHS funding prescriptions etc, or its universities giving students free tuition fees, or maybe even the NHS as a whole! 4. The majority of UAE (in particular Dubai) runs on monies from Oil yes, but they saved these monies for decades, industry experts say Scotlands Oil field will be lucky to see 8 years. 5. A border would have to be erected across the continent preventing easy travel from Scotland into England. 6. Scotland has a huge export capacity to Europe, which would become less lucrative without the UKs input. 7. Only once Scotland has broken from the UK will the parties drawer up plans and legislation between them, do you jump into a swimming pool without filling it with water first?! 8. Scotland would become Nuclear Free and Trident would have to relocate, decimating the communities around these Naval Bases. 9. A lot of the transport etc is subsidised by the Government, im pretty sure you would have services cut or become less frequent. 10. There is confusion regarding the currency of Scotland, do you really want to vote something before its completely clear?! Finally my last few words... Lets fight the EU as a stronger UK, its the EU that make ludicrous legislation that force us to enforce it across our beautiful continent. Theres two votes that you should participate in 1. The NO vote to remain part of the UK. 2. Remaining in the UK, you can vote in the EU referendum. Lets shape history as one, not divided!
