Dear Sec. John Kerry I am horrified by the mass death sentence handed down to hundreds of Egyptian citizens in Minya. By all reports these show trials have fallen short of the most basic legal standards. We the American people. Are calling on you to persuade the Egyptian Government from its position. On the mass execution that was ordered without any legal evidence presented against them. This is a clear violation of basic human rights. All Egyptians deserve fair trials and basic rights like free speech and freedom. I ask you to go beyond your initial condemnation and send a clear message that unless these sentences are retracted and there is a fair trial, Egypt could face diplomatic and financial sanctions.
