Dear Shockers, Here is the information for which you were much awaited ..! REGARDING INSURANCE We are going to prefer the PSI PLATINUM PLAN health Insurance as we did it for the last semesters as it satisfies all the new rules of the university. This time there are two plans which are been offered to choose from.In both the plans students have to pay 20% of bills and Insurance pays 80% of bills. PLAN 1 - $415 plan - 0 Deductible For example if you are been billed for $1000. student has to pay only $200 dollars. Insurance company will pay $800 dollars. NOTE : 0 deductible means that student need not pay anything before the insurance starts to pay healthcare claims.Student just needed to pay the 20% of bill amount. PLAN 2 - $335 plan - $500 Deductible Example 1 : If you are billed for $1000. Student has to pay first $500 dollars to the bill.So in $1000 you will first pay $500 which will be 1000-500= $500 remaining. In the remaining $500 of bill, student has to pay 20% of the bill which is $100 Insurance company will pay 80% of the bill which is $400 dollars so at total student will be ending up paying $600. Example 2 : If you are billed for $250. Student has to pay the deductible $500 dollars to the bill,even though it is only $250. Each and every individual Students have their own health issues.Students are asked to choose among any of these two plans according to their convenience and please understand the procedure of both the plans through the examples given before deciding. These are the following steps in order to enroll for PSI step 1 : go to the PSI Insurance link page.This is the link to the PSI page psiservice/WICHITA step 2. click as NEW CUSTOMER as you are enrolling it for the fist time. step 3: select the option to which you belong. For example if you are here for Master degree - select the first option as F1 visa only (university/college) and click NEXT step 4 : On the insured page,Click YES to the full time student check box.Enter the state as KANSAS and university as WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY.Then click on the I ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE check box.Then give option for spouse as NO and leave empty the children option as it is and click NEXT. step 5 : On the coverage page select the FALL 2014 option and click NEXT. step 6 : On the product page select the plan which you wanted to choose.For exmaple I have selected the #335 plan - $500 deductible and click NEXT. step 7 : On the enrollment page enter all your login details.After entering the details , at the last part student profile enter your WSU ID and select degree as Masters.Give an approximate date for year of graduation example- SPRING 2016.select as student organization for How did you hear from us option and then click NEXT. step 8 : At the confirm payment page check the plans and all stuffs and then select pay now. step 9 : Enter your credit card / debit card details and enter the address for billing. NOTE : Billing address should be the same address as credit/debit card address registered in the following bank. Then select the option as I hereby Authorize and also select the check box below to enroll in PSI Health Insurance.Now click confirm payment to complete the enrollment. The documents,policies,receipt of payments and confirmation letter will be mailed to the email address with which you have entered and enrolled for PSI. There are two options regarding on submitting your Waiver within August 20th. 1. You can email to [email protected] with Subject : Insurance Waiver Documents for WSU ID = your ID... NOTE : Attach the confirmation letter,policy,id card,receipt of payment along with the email. 2. You can go to student health services by taking along with you the photocopies of confirmation letter,policy,id card,receipt of payment and submitting it over to them. I Have attached photos for each step in order to be clear for all of the students.If you have any doubts, feel free to ask and you will be helped by any of members of ISA. IMPORTANT NOTE 1. Student Health Services will serve students free for minor problems. 2. If students are planning to take the University Insurance , please note that the cost of the Insurance is $620 plan - $300 deductible,which is also like the same process such as the PSI $335 plan - $500 deductible.
